We are hiring Network Administrators to manage and maintain our network infrastructure. You will configure routers and switches, monitor performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure secure reliable access for our globally distributed team. This is a fully remote role open to candidates worldwide, with opportunities across a growing portfolio of global clients. The salary for this role is $800 - $1600 , paid monthly in USD, and reflects RemoteTask Online's global compensation model for fully remote professionals.
A typical day involves logging into our secure portal, reviewing your task queue, and configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. From there you will monitor network performance and availability using tools like PRTG, Zabbix, or SolarWinds. Most work is self-directed: you receive daily or weekly targets and organise your own schedule, as long as quality standards are met. You will use a combination of standard office tools and our proprietary internal systems.
This role is perfect for someone who can strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, DNS, DHCP) and hands-on experience with Cisco, Meraki, or Ubiquiti networking equipment. Full training is provided, and we actively promote from within — many of our current team leads started in this exact role.
